1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Dbirr (“the Platform”), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Account Registration

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• One person may only maintain one account. Sharing accounts is prohibited.

3. Course Enrollment & Access

• Upon successful payment, you are granted a personal, non-transferable license to access the enrolled course content.
• Course access is for the registered user only and cannot be shared with others.
• You have lifetime access to courses you've enrolled in, subject to the availability of the Platform.
• Dbirr reserves the right to update, modify, or remove course content at any time.

4. Payments

Automatic Payments (Stripe)

Credit/debit card payments are processed immediately through Stripe. Course access is granted instantly upon successful payment.

Manual Payments (Bank Transfer / TeleBirr)

Manual payments require verification by our team. Course access is granted after payment verification, typically within 24 hours.Dbirr is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect payment information.

5. Refund Policy

• You may request a refund within 30 days of purchase.
• Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
• Refunds for Stripe payments are processed to the original payment method.
• Refunds for manual payments are processed via bank transfer.
• Courses that are more than 50% completed are not eligible for refunds.
• Certificates issued for completed courses will be revoked upon refund.

6. Content Protection & DRM

All video content on Dbirr is protected by Digital Rights Management (DRM). You agree that you will NOT:

• Attempt to download, copy, or redistribute any video content
• Use screen recording software to capture course videos
• Share your account credentials with others to access paid content
• Circumvent or disable any DRM or content protection measures
• Remove or alter any watermarks displayed on video content

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination and revocation of all certificates without refund.

7. Certificates

• Certificates are issued upon completion of 100% of course lessons.
• Each certificate has a unique verification code that can be validated on our website.
• Certificates represent course completion only and are not academic degrees or professional certifications.
• Dbirr reserves the right to revoke certificates in cases of fraud, Terms violations, or refunds.

8. Q&A Community Guidelines

When using the Q&A feature, you agree to:

• Be respectful and constructive in all interactions
• Not post spam, promotional content, or irrelevant material
• Not share copyrighted content or solutions that violate academic integrity
• Not harass, bully, or discriminate against other users

Dbirr reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on Dbirr, including but not limited to videos, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Dbirror its content creators and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

Dbirr provides educational content on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee specific outcomes such as employment, salary increases, or career advancement. Dbirr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

11. Account Termination

Dbirr reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, including but not limited to content piracy, fraudulent payments, or abusive behavior.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the website. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
